Aptean Weighbridge Receiving captures the inbound weight of vehicles with goods, allows for estimated packaging tare recording, then stores the records for later processing of outbound vehicles (with optional outbound packaging tare). Since we’ve fully integrated these steps into the purchase order and warehouse receiving process, Aptean Weighbridge Receiving is especially useful for verticals where bulk inward movement occurs.
The app also supports businesses that receive bulk loads and have direct factory feeds where production may begin consuming product before the vehicle is fully unloaded. Aptean Weighbridge Receiving provides a two-part receiving process that first records the inbound load details by lot (allowing for receiving and consuming) then posts all relevant inbound documents and updates the production records when the outbound weights are known.
